Carol A. Scarpino, M.A. in 2000, and is located in Marin County, Northern California, in the heart
of the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Scarpino had observed for many years in her work as a
Counselor & an MFT Intern, that many people did not know how to make their lives work effectively
and successfully, and for the most part felt quite disempowered. Her vision and the Mission
Statement of LifeWorks is to empower people to be able to make effective & successful decisions
and to use resources to their advantage.

fibromyalgia, and other chronic physical and mental illnesses, career or work issues, and health
care concerns. Ms. Scarpino brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and wisdom to her work.
Ms. Scarpino also has a tremendous interest in inviting both the international community, as well
as the local and national communities to utilize her services. Ms. Scarpino is very culturally
competent, and these issues are also very universal. Although some issues manifest differently
with the cultural differences of the communities, the heart of the work remains the same which is
to empower people to create the lives they dream of living, and to find fulfillment, satisfaction and
peace in their own unique realities.
